Hi, I may be the oldest one on the team, but I’m still young at heart! I’m 55 and married to the love of my life for 12 years. He was a widower with 2 teenage daughters, who are now married with a girl and boy each. My 4 grandkids keep me young (but tired), and I have lots of photos to scrap. I was raised on a dairy farm in eastern Ohio and got a communications degree before moving to Chicago to work for Sears for 29 years. At Sears I was in various positions – marketing, advertising, communications, buying, and systems planning, before being given an early retirement 3 years ago (my entire dept was eliminated). Last year, I became the editor of my husband’s national antique car club magazine. It keeps me busy and helps feed my interest in graphics design and photoshop. I’ve been addicted to crafts of all kinds from the age of 5, love photography, and started to convert from paper scapping to digital scrapping about 2 years ago. I was the editor of my high school and college yearbooks and newspapers, so I have always had an interest in photography and journaling and scrapping. We now live in Woodstock, Illinois, on five acres in the country – I feel like I’ve come full circle from when I was a child growing up on a farm. I love antiques, heritage, vintage, shabby chic, cottage style – yet love trying out new things all the time. I am thrilled to be on the GDS Supreme Team and love the community here. It’s a fun group of people, and they made me feel welcome from the very start – even if I am in a different generation than most of them. Digiscrapping is something for people of all ages – you’re never too old to learn something new – and to have fun!
