Okay, if you ever start thinking that you're a good photographer, try taking a picture of a hummingbird! You know what they say about pride goeth before a fall. I tell you what, trying to catch these little guys in actions is an exercise in futility. I sat on my sister's porch for over an hour, waiting for them to fly up close enough. It was early morning and the light wasn't really great, so these picture are pretty dark (even with brightening and setting contrast) and not the clearest thing in the world, but I'm just happy I managed to catch them with the camera at all! I think I'll go back to photographing kids and flowers now!

I used Jessica's fantastic new kit Orchard available here at GDS. The postage frame (covered with Orchard paper) is by Meredith Fenwick at Scrapbookgraphics and the font is CSTootsie by Carrie Stephen

I think that you got some fantastic shots of the hummingbirds. I did a layout of them a while back, I took the screen out of my kitchen window and then leaned way out and didn't move until they came in and just kept clicking. I ended up with my ribs hurting and I didn't get any photos as good as these. Now then, I just love the colors of the layout you used, the cardboard and torn paper, brads and ribbon, okay so that's everything LOL

I think they turned out great! I love the red paper and the cardboard, and cool idea to turn your stamps red. Great looking page!

Patience paid off...these shots are great. Ive taken a few myself and know how long it takes and how many discarded picture it took to get 1 good shot. Very nicely done.

Such excellent photographs! I can imagine how frustrating it must have been to capture the little guy ... you did beautifully! These photos look amazing with this kit too...
