Designer Spotlight

We thought you might like to get to know our designers better!
This week's spotlight is Darlene Currie aka Studio4 Designworks.

We asked Darlene "What advice would you give to a newbie digital scrapper?" and this was her response:
"When I first started, I had no clue. I perused a lot of galleries just to check out what people were doing and I kept track of the ones I really loved. It's okay to do scraplifts to start because it gives you a sense of how to put a layout together. Check out the freebies too, to get your inventory started. Keep it labeled correctly in the beginning so you always know where to go for something. There are lots of tutorials out there too, and it's easy to "google" them, and don't be afraid to ask questions in the Forum"

Darlene has always enjoyed scrapbooking and especially loves making family scrapbooks. She finds inspiration from many different places but her main inspiration comes from colours. She states, "I love colours - everywhere - in all parts of life!" Her designs are bright and colourful. Some of her favorite kits include Ryan's Ride, Girls Night Out, and My Seascapes. Some of her best selling kits are Summer Journeys and Summer Daze.
