New----- Digi-Scrap Chat

This Chat will run every other Thursday starting Thursday February 15th. at 10pm. I checked my local TV listings to make sure it wasn't cutting into any serious TV show times,, and didn't see any conflicts at this time. LOL.

So what's the point of this chat. Since I have only been a part of GDS for a month I still consider myself a newbie here. I've been digi-scrapping for over a year and while I don't consider myself a pro by any means I do want to share what I have learned with,, well,, with anyone willing to listen,

. I want to get together with newbies twice a month and work on tips, tricks and instructions for creating layouts. Before each chat I will introduce the chat's topic and preview what we'll talk about. It could be something as simple as resizing pictures, adding the right elements or balancing your layouts correctly. Oh and for those that aren't new to digi-scrap don't think I'm not inviting you too. Everyone's welcome. I will even throw in some freebies or coupons here and there so don't be surprised when there's more to earn at the chat other than how-to-tips.

The first chat topic will be Layering your layout. Layers and layers, some of my layouts end up being 5-6 layers and I've had some end up with 40, ack! How do you manage all that and keep the right end up? That's what we're going to talk about.

Come share, learn, laugh and have a good time. Plus maybe some of you can help me come up with a snappier name other than Digi-Scap Chat,, thats just too simple we need something funky.

What a great idea, Tara! I am willing to help out if you ever need it. Like you, I don't consider myself a pro, but do feel pretty comfortable with photoshop cs, and would be able to attend most thursdays and help answer questions.
