I'm trying to decide whether to cut frames out of paper or just put a stroke for a frame....

Here's step 3:

1. 2 photos cut in any shape other than a square or rectangle but framed in the same shape.
2. attach framed photos together with string, ribbon or staples.
3. select 2 patterned papers and 2 solid papers and shape/cut and layer as you wish.

Psst...Andrea's templates usually have circle shapes to clip to. You can borrow a .png from her and do a stroke for framing :)
