Question about Members Online

I was just playing around with all the little buttons, etc and I clicked on the tab that said members online; so I went and looked and there were a bunch of: Yahoo! Slurp Spider and Google Spider browsing. What are these???

Yahoo and Google and MSN all send out spiders to scan our pages to help aid searches on their sites. It's a good thing they are visiting us because it helps moves us up on the list of what is shown when different searches are done on their sites.

Interesting!! Hooray for GDS then!!

I thought maybe these were what were slowing the site down so much. I can't hardly do anything on here today and I have never had that problem before.
