Unhappy Help NEEDED for Photoshop Elements!!

I really need help before I pull all my hair out over this! lol
If anyone knows about PS Elements.....

I have been trying for 2 days to figure out how to overlay a paper onto an alpha. I have seen it done but cannot replicate it. I have tried everything I can think of. I am sort of new to Elements so I may need some explaining but I really could use the help!
Thanks SO much!
Michelle

It's been a while since I used Elements but try putting the layer you want on your alpha above it. with the overlay selected hit ctrl and g. That should do it, I hope....
