ok how do u use overlays? and how do u make them?

also how do u make really pretty ribbons? all i can make are the simple ones and they never turn out how i want them too!

I use overlays to chage the overall feel of the paper I've chosen for the background, and to make pictures more interesting. I don't make them, as there is such an abundance of talent here in the shop! but maybe some of the designers could answer that.
I've heard of people scanning in ribbons to use them digitally, and others use actions to get the look they want. hth.
