June Lyrical Challenge ~ NEW! Come Play!
Lyrical Challenge!
 Howdy! Howdy!! Welcome to our June Lyrical Challenge!!! This is a new challenge for me to I am excited to be hosting it! In this challenge, I will be giving you a song, or an assignment for a song and your challenge if you choose to accept it is to create a layout using the lyrics or spirit of the song for the inspiration for your layout! Everyone that plays gets a posting BONUS! Yup…that’s something FREE!! FREE is good!! Great way to build up your stash!! Ok so this month, since it is Father’s Day what I want everyone to do is to think of a song that reminds them of their Father and make a layout using that song as inspiration! Don’t forget to include a pic of your Father if you have one in the layout as well!! (You could also use a grandfather, special uncle, or even your husband if he is a father too!!) Good Luck!! Can’t wait to see what you all come up with! Additional info: (1) Your layout can only be used for this challenge. (2) Your layout also counts as one entry towards the June 2012 Scrappin' 7 Challenge. (3) Use of GDS products is strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated. for the Lyrical Challenge I chose the song "Still the One" by Orleans.
I chose it because it reminds me of my husband whenever I hear it. We have been together for almost 12 years an hes still the one. The Father's Day tie in is because he is also a father, but one of the reasons he is "the one" is because I feel that when you choose a partner you have to choose one that will not only be a good husband/partner/best friend but they need to be good father material as well. He is all of that to me. The first pic of the two of us was taken a couple months after we started dating...and the picture with our family was taken a couple of months ago.
