Currently in the U.S. 14.1 million children live in poverty. Last year close to 500,000 people participated in the Great American Bake Sale to raise over 1.2 million dollars to help fight childhood hunger. I actually work with C&H/Domino Sugar and we are encouraging people to participate in this year’s sale. The more people who get involved, the bigger difference we can make to fight childhood hunger. It is also a great way to have fun memories to add to scrapbooks! Do you know anyone who has participated in the Great American Bake Sale before?
