Here is something else you can try... When you have your layout opened go to Image>Rotate. When the drop down box opens up you will notice that there are three boxes seperated by a slight grey line. The top six commands will change your whole page, the next six will change only the layer that you have highlighted. (the word layer is in these six) So when you want to flip a picture (or element) make sure that the layer is highlighted in your layer panel, go to Image>Rotate>Flip Layer Horizontal. Hope that works in PSE8 :) And me too Jessie I love learning all my program has to offer.

[QUOTE=Scrappinsass;258368]no it's not too late to join in.. to cut the slices use your marque tool to slice a section, then right click and cut as layer. That's in PS.. Not sure how you do it in PSE.. I'm sure the ladies who use it will chime in.
Lone I just tried it this way...it seems to work the same in PSE.

That worked great! I never paid attention that stuff was listed twice on that dropdown...so much of a timesaver than opening up in a new file flipping then dragging back to my project!!! Jessie :) |

I have my 2nd LO finished, but the upload procedure has been changed and I cannot upload my photo as there is no place to include the URL of my LO.

LOL... had to look to find where to do it...It has been moved from right below the gallery thread selection and above the description - to way down near the bottom in the center under the description box. It is a small box that says "select files for upload". Click on it and that will take you to your computer files. Once it is there, click on 'upload'. That should take to the next page with a thumbnail of your photo and then you can fill in the descriptions, etc.
