  1. #1

    November Be Insired! Challenge

I'm here with this month's Be Inspired Challenge!

Your part is to scrap a layout about what inspires you from the quote given!

Here is the quote I chose for this month:

How does it make you feel....what do you think of when you look at it? What's the first thing that comes to mind?

    Show us in your layouts!

    Additional info:

    (1) Your layout must be unique, and can only be used for this challenge.
    (2) Your layout also counts as one entry towards the Scrappin' 7 Challenge.
    (3) Use of GDS products is strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated.
Feel free to use past posting bonuses you have previously received or any GDS product!
    (4) Please post your layout in the Be Inspired! Challenge gallery HERE
    (5) Come back here and post what you created, and link it to the gallery, so we can all leave you some love!
    (6) HAVE FUN!

Everyone that submits a layout for this challenge will receive my part of our November "Indian Summer" Posting Bonus collection! The more challenges you do the more kits you get which equate to one great coordinating kit at the end!

Here's the part you will receive created by me:

    Have fun!

    Rossi

I posted this 2 days ago, but it seems to have disappeared from this thread.... Strange>>>>

    Here it is again:

I used this for the inspiration challenge - as my brother-in-law's service and dedication for his country inspired my husband to spend 20 years as career Navy, then an additional 19 years working as a civilian with the Navy.

I can only see 1 of them, that is why I posted it again.

The one I just posted today has the post number of 3. Puzzling...

Also, I can't see the post about Mother Theresa which was just above mine when I did the first post on 11/10. The LO is in the Be Inspired gallery.

    My inspiration:

I chose the photo of my great grandfather (even though I never met him, he died 5 years before I was born) because he was an active member of parliament, and he was also working for the Norwegian underground during WWII. He was captured by the Nazis and was supposed to be sent to a concentration camp, but the war ended May 8, 1945, and he was released. He also worked for the railroad as a station master, so the kit Flutterby seemed to be just the right fit. He seems like a man I would have loved to meet and talk with as an adult.

    Thumbs up

Cath and Maraya what a great choice - I admire these two Ladies as well.
Let me introduce two more Ladies fighting for freedom.

No.1 is my dear collegue Marianne.

She is 83 or 84 yrs.old, half - jewish and as a young child
she had to suffer from Hitlers terror - regime. Thanksgod
she survived but 13 members of her family did not.
This must have inspired her to fight against right radicalism
    since more than 50 years.
She and her husband are still active and going strong !!!
