Thread: October Be Inspired! Challenge

    Smile

When I first saw the Inspiration Layout I come
to the conclusion that I have to do a Lo about
the Real Life - Social Network in our town.
There is so many activities all year round, plus the
    seatings and preparations for Festivities,Visits
from a befriended community in the Netherlands,
    Memorials etc.
Since several years I am part of this network and
help my Collegues in the fight against any racism.
I finally found me a safe harbour after all the
Rollercoaster Rides in the Past and I would not
want to live anywhere else !!!

I always wanted to do one, and actually started one when my boys were little. I've never finished it. "light bulb" I need to dig it out of my cedar chest and finish it!!! What a dummy I am! LOL It would make a great gift for my grandson away at college. Thank you for prodding my memory!!! Guess I'll have to scrap a photo of it later.
You are welcome Linda. I am sad that I did not take the time to sit with Mom and have her teach me her skills at this craft. I can sew, and have made wall-hangings and did a pre-stamped quilt, but I never took the time to learn the true art that Mom was so great at.
We have all Mom's dressed and we want to make them all into quilts for my girls and grandkids, but don't know when that will ever happen. I guess I need to find someone who can do it for us. Or prod myself to go and take some classes!
Can't wait to see pics of your finished product!
