No not to late and it is so cute!!
Awesome prompts and love the layouts! Sorry I missed it Vicki!
Ok - I couldn't seem to read and follow the instructions worth a darn... I had to Undo so many times.... or I just mis-read them and had to re-do things.... LOL! My night did not go as planned.... juggling things while at the speed scrap and then the kids didn't go to bed as planned, but I got it done.
Great job Vicki - although it was so hard not to add more elements to the layout....Once I read through all the instructions I had to go find new photos :-)
As I was sleeping, lol, I played alone just for the fun!
Here's my layout, Vicki:
Lol, EllyMae, so sorry the instructions were so hard to understand, your layout turned out great though!!
Thanks for playing along Cath, cute kitty and page!!
Oh Vicki - your instructions were great.... it was not you... I just couldn't get it together :-) LOL! But it turned out.....
I won't even tell you how many times I re-did the circles... first I only had 3, then I had to get it so the photos were smaller than the circles - this took multiple corrections, then I saw someone else's layout and I thought I totally missed the boat... I for some reason thought it was 4 shapes at the top of the page :-) But, by that time I had hit Ctrl+z so many times that I thought oh well, it will be a different lo than everyone's..... they were still evenly spaced.....
It was fun!
I think it turned out great!!
I plan on trying this, but I can not figure out how to do the cut outs evenly.
Did you give out tips during the scrap Vicki? If so, can you share? LOL
I know how to do cutouts, just not how to get them done evenly on the page.
I use PSE 11.
There's probably an easier way to do this, but here's what I did.

I used my marquee tool to make the circles (or squares) I wanted to use. After the first one, make sure you have "add to the selection" chosen for you marquee tool. Then when you have them finished, if you go back to the "new selection" you should be able to move them to where you want on the page.
Next you invert your selection. (Right click, select invert.)
Now all you have to do is add a layer mask & you should have holes in your paper.
Hope I didn't overstep my bounds. :)
Super Ann....thanks for your help!
I will give it a try this evening!
