Laura, you don't even have to merge down. Once you have created the photo spots and there is transparency showing (little grey and white boxes where the hole is) you can just save as a PNG file. It will merge it all for you when you do. Then when the Interlaced option comes up, choose None.
Then you can follow the link in the top post and upload each one to the ftp file and I'll update when they are confirmed.
