Digi-Dish Challenge ~ Come put together a Yummy LO!

Digi Dish Challenge!

Howdy! Howdy!! Welcome to our June Digi Dish Challenge!!! This is a new challenge for me to I am excited to be hosting it!

In this challenge, I will be giving you a “recipe” that you must follow to create your layout! Of course we want to see your creativity and style, so I just give you what must be included in the layout, how you use them is up to you!! I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Here is your recipe

*** The Title and the Date are two separate "ingredients" and do not count in against your 30 words for journaling!! The 30 Words are a completely separate "ingredient" Does that make sense???

Additional info:

(1) Your layout can only be used for this challenge.
(2) Your layout also counts as one entry towards the June 2012 Scrappin' 7 Challenge.
(3) Use of GDS products is strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated.
(4) Please post your layout in the Digi-Dish Challenge Gallery
(5) Come back here and post what you created, and link it to the gallery, so we can all leave you some love!
(6) HAVE FUN!

This challenge runs through June 30, 2012!

Everyone that plays gets a posting BONUS!! Yup, that means FREE Goodies! 

I can't wait to see your creations!!!

How to link your layout from the gallery to the forum.

How to give credit to the designer thru keywords tutorial

Don’t forget to post in the Scrapin’ 7 Challenge Thread for a chance for a coupon!

This sounds like a very fun challenge! I love your ad for it, too. :-) Oh, but wouldn't I have a terrible time putting 12 (TWELVE!!!) flowers on a layout???

Question

Sounds like a fun challenge. I need to know whether the 30 words are in addition to the title and date or whether the words in the title and date are part of the 30 count.:confused1:

Hi good question!! The date and title are separate from the 30 words! Does that make sense? So you do one date, then one Title, and then the 30 words is for journaling...the date and title don't count in the 30 words!

Ok here is what I came up with!! It was tough because the kit i used only had ONE flower in it...and I like to stick to using one kit when I do layouts...not true when I art journal....but I think I made it work!

Question-

Does the 1 frame mean it cannot be a double frame to cover both pictures? So, could we use 1 frame element that is actually 2 frames together?

Thanks!

criostirado 06-11-2012 02:05 PM

Yes as long as it is one frame element you can use a double!! We aren't strict!!! You can be creative!
