I'm not one for cropping photos into circles, but I do have this step completed. Can't wait to see what becomes of it.

Hi, Ladies! So excited to see you all!

HollyS
12-18-2008, 06:11 PM
Well, for this speed scrap I had really wanted to do a project with you that really didn't entail scrapping a layout but instead using scrap supplies to make something crafty (don't worry, no glue and such was going to be needed) but I didn't find the things I was looking for so I'll bench that for another time :)

Ok, here's step 2:

Step 1: choose 2 pics and cut to circle shape
Step 2: either frame the pics using a circle frame or mat of your choice (whatever pattern or plain works for your pics!)

uinthas
12-18-2008, 06:11 PM
I hardly ever use circles either :)

I can't wait to see what you do -- I loved your LO from last week's SS.

never could cut them in paper, so digital makes that so easy

I found a fun circle frame. We'll see if it works with the rest of the steps.

We are having crazy weather here. It was freezing rain, but a warm front is moving thru and believe it or not, it is now thundering and lightning!

I'm on the north side of Saint Louis, and the thunder and lightning haven't hit here yet. That is crazy!

Step 1: choose 2 pics and cut to circle shape
Step 2: either frame the pics using a circle frame or mat of your choice (whatever pattern or plain works for your pics!)
Step 3: choose any background paper you wish....only choose one. Arrange circle frames w/pics so one is lower and to the side of the other (they can overlap a bit if that works best for you) and as if they are hanging from the top

britnkaysmemaw2
12-18-2008, 06:27 PM
Yeah, Amanda, I was just talking to my DD in Belleville, and it hasn't hit there yet either. This is crazy.

Step three is easy for me...I already had mine arranged like that. hehe

mosser77
12-18-2008, 06:28 PM
ooooh! that's totally how I have them laid out already....my plan might actually work!! :)

OK Holly, I knew you would start with more detailed instructions, lol.

crazy weather Cathy!
for a change we are not having snow

kpieczyn

I kind of had mine already like that to.

Great minds must think alike.

Step 4: I wasn't clear in the last step but you do need to use some type of hangar like ribbons or clips or whatever you have in your stash. If you can try to keep whatever you are using to hang it skinny instead of wide that would be good. After actually hanging the frames, interweave anything like string, more ribbons, foliage, etc. into whatever you hung them with.

Uh oh, did I scare everyone off with that last one????

Oh, that one is difficult. I'm onto my 3rd item. Hanging things & visualizing what part shows isn't my strong suit.

Didn't scare me off....just changed things. lol.

mosser77
12-18-2008, 06:48 PM
I haven't organized anything in a long time and so I didn't have anything tagged like that. But I found the ribbon fasteners in your Joy of Flight kit - they are probably wider than I need, but if Tim Gunn were here, he'd tell me to "make it work!"

amandamoo

Please know none of my steps are hard and fast rules...just guidelines...I'm not gonna give you 100 lashes for not sticking to the book! This is somewhat close to what I was envisioning as far as hanging things :)

Step 6: Add a title or journaling and date it! That's all!

I'm gonna give you all a little extra time since I threw you a curve ball...you have until 11:30 to complete your layout and upload it to the gallery and link back here...can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
