Well it happened to me...

But... my laptop died.:cry:

Not the blue screen of death, but it says it's missing a file.
The most important one. The system configuration file.
Called my Director of IT son, and he was putting the kids to bed.
My 18 year old may be able to fix it.
But I'm not fooling with it. I'm taking it right into the shop.

All my digiscrapbooking stuff is on it!
I mean ALL. I did back it up a few months ago, but not recently.
so if I haven't sent you your ABC challenge bonus... sorry.

I'm on the desktop right now. Haven't used it in months.
Poor baby.

How awful. It feels like you lost your best friend doesn't it! I have withdrawals whenever the internet goes down. I would really go ape if my desktop quit on me, especially since my dh has taken over possession of the laptop. Hope they get it fixed for you!

That is horrible. My computer was struck by lightning a few years ago and the power unit died, but luckily the hard drive was OK! Hopefully it is a similar situation.

I took it in to fixed, and the geek guy said he couldn't even look at it until the 22nd!!!
I am going to die of boredum(sp?)!!!
