I did it!

I got sick of the same style of hair for the past 20 years. Long and straight ... while I straighten it because I have natural wavy hair. I decided to make a change and cut off 10 inches today! What a difference. My dh is hating it but I THINK that I like it. I will only miss the ponytail..way to short now :wink:!
Here is a picture ... awful of course because I had to use my little point and shoot for it. I don't think that I could hold my Rebel up backwards and snap a picture :lmao:!

I went from really long to a very short, spiky crop cut which was a bit of a shock! I really liked it for a couple of years, but am now growing it out! Am lucky to have very fast-growing hair!

Emi and Alice both had mega-haircuts a couple of years ago and donated to Locks of Love, then started to grow it again! Now Emi is after having hers really really short!

Sheila, it looks lovely! It really suits you! And even though you can't wear a pony tail pigtails are a good option. :) I wear mine on little tiny pigtails once in a while cause mine are to short for a pony tail. It makes a difference and my DH likes the pigtails. :)

I think it looks great! I cut off 24 inches last year and I was amazed at how it made me feel so much lighter. I hope you continue to enjoy your new look.
