View Full Version : Update on hubby's surgery

He did fantastic!
The DR. said everything went so smoothly!
So smoothly, they'll probably let him come home tomorrow!

He'll still be off work for a week. The surgery was for an aneurysm on his aorta, so they did a very non-invasive procedure, and went through the femoral arteries in both legs. So he'll be a sore for a few days, and won't be doing much in the way of walking or lifting anything, but it's so much better than the old way.

I want to thank everyone for all the well wishes and prayers!
They worked fantastically!

So glad to hear the surgery went so well! Hope he heals up fast, tell him we said to let you spoil him rotten and enjoy as much relaxation as he can! For a short while anyways..Hugs to you both.

Jack is recovering slowly, he went back to work on Monday and he is walking too much. But I am so happy just to have him around!!
