My husband and I got a thing in the mail for a free lottery ticket from the Ohio Lottery. Everyone in Ohio got one because my husband works at the post office and said that they had to deliver hundreds of them. Well,my husband was going to throw ours away but decided that he would take it into the store and get one just to see if he would win.
He asked the lady when he got in there if anyone has won(he went to school with her) and she said that alot people are winning a dollar and the highest that she has seen was a $5.00 winner. She scanned my husbands card and she waslked back to the back. My husband asked her if he won and her reply was "you don't want to know". Well,she came out with the manager and my husband thought that he was in trouble since she gave him that reply and then came out wiht he manager! Well,he asked again and she said yes...$500.00! He was one of the top prizes,that was the most you could win. She then asked my husband if he could wait 10 minutes so they could count out the money. My husbands reply "for 500 bucks,yes I can"!
Well he came home and show me the stack of $20.00 bills and the receipt that they gave him. Needless to say I was more excited when he said that I could have it all! I have been wanting a new lens for my camera and things have beent ight around here money wise. I shopped yesterday on Amazon and got 2 lenses for a fraction of the cost NEW and still have money to spare to give back to my husband to help pay bills. Can't wait for my lenses to arrive now. New lenses means more pictures and more pictures means more scrapping to do :laugh:!
