Lots of good stuff going on right now at GDS!
Holly has organized a new brag book quick page exchange!!! And since I was the first to bring brag books to GDS, she let me go first :) THANKS HOLLY!! For those of you that aren't sure how a QP exchange works, here's a quick overview (check out the link HERE (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3275) to get full details). You simply make a couple of quick pages with the kit that's featured, saved in png format with holes punch out for the pictures. Send them to Holly, and when the exchange is over (mine runs through the 15th) you'll get everyone's qp's that participated! In other words, for making a couple of quick pages, you get essentially a whole album!

For my turn, I'm showcasing one of my newest kits, Grunge Prince (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&products_id=915)!

Grunge Prince will be on sale for 20% off during the brag book qp exchange. AND, if you use one of my brag book template sets (also 20% off during the exchange), you also get an extra goodie!!!

You're A Star CD Album Templates, along with instructions on how to make and assemble your awesome album! This is an awesome way to use up those CDs you get in the mail, or the ones that got messed up in the burning process, etc. Personally, I love how original it is, not everyone has a CD album, and wouldn't this be another awesome gift for the upcoming season? Anyway, haven't decided if these will go in the store or if it will be exclusively a bonus for this exchange!

Since yesterday was the 1st of October (!!!!!) is starts a new theme challenge (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3277) for the month!
This month I'm featuring Aware (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&products_id=937), in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

This beautiful kit full of shades of pink is perfect to scrap your hero -- whether she be a survivor of breast cancer or the woman who has inspired you to be a wonderful mother or wife. Lots of texture and bling in this 100% female kit!

And with Aware, I'd like you to scrap your hero.........is it your mom? your sister? your daughter? your best friend? What makes them your hero? Is she a strong fighter? Does she have unyielding faith?

I would challenge you also to print this layout and give to them. Often times we forget to tell those that we love what about them means so much to us!

Your posting bonus this month is the DIY Awareness Ribbons (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&products_id=878):

Aware and the DIY Awareness Ribbons are available in MY STORE (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=19)! And check out the Monthly Theme Challenge HERE (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3277)!

Cool stuff.
The CD's templates are cool. How would you bind them? Or do you? 2 CD's as a front and back? Thinking aloud here.

I love these new kits! My mom is a breast cancer survivor, so I will definately be doing your challenge.

As for KattyZak's question about binding the album....couldn't you punch a hole and either bind with ribbon, or one of those colored binder rings? Has anyone got a picture of one completed they could post?

I love the album templates. Amy, you are making my Christmas shopping a little easier this year. ;)

Hey there! I will include full instructions, but you actually adhere the pages to the front and back of a cd, and with just a little work, bind together with a binder ring! Super easy, and super awesome!!!

Oh, and I do have one that I've completed, just grab me on hello and I'll try to get a pic to you!
