That is so funny...poor woman. I think she needs to send her 7th child to the grocery store with the kids next time--oh strike that idea he would probably teach them new tricks. Do I hear Super Nanny to the rescue???

And can you believe that someone paid that much for a few pokemon cards???????

I also saw the link to her her blog on another site - will get it and put that here to as that is meant to be very funny as well!

OMG...LMAOMBH! I can relate to every single paragraph! I avoid AT ALL COSTS taking my 3 boys to any store let alone a grocery store! This was too funny! Thanks Erin for sharing that story. I scrolled down to the bottom and found this ladies blog at http://mom2my6pack.blogspot.com. Gonna sit back and check the blog out and probably do a bunch more laughing!

I know! She said on her blog that the winner is actually a friend, but there were plenty of other people who helped bump up the price. Crazy.

Here is the link to the blog:
http://mom2my6pack.blogspot.com/

Her name is Dawn, and she has pictures on her blog to confirm that she's not making this stuff up. As a mom, I didn't really think she was, but could it be that others experience the same things I experience? She has such a way with words! I read her entire blog today, as she just started blogging about a month ago. I was laughing so hard I had tears pouring down my face!

She is very funny, and very honest!

Maybe with that money she can buy a good padlock and when she goes to the grocery store she can lock all the kids in a padded room until she gets back.

I only had 1 child and that was enough of a grocery shopping adventure for me. I can't even imagine that many on a trip. :twitcy:

This is so funny - am reading her blog at the moment. Although I have no kids I can sympathise with her. I can remember taking my ex's nieces and nephews to the mall one day (can't quite remember how it ended up just being me) and there were 11 of them ranging in ages from about 5 to 16. We walked up and all I can remember about the exprience was forever counting them to make sure I hadn't lost any.

She is one very funny lady

Same here...about the 3rd one. Her blog is now definitely on my favs now. By the way, did you know that when I started reading her blog she had 247,000 hits, and about 1/2 later, her count went up to 251,300...what an amazing discovery of fame in such a short time, and going up as we speak.

Good call this on this read, apparently I missed the annoucement this morning, they said she made National News this morning.

Thanx for sharing,

Addie
