LESS IS MORE Challenge

Hi everyone, Darlene here of Studio4 Design•works (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/shop-by-designer-studio4-designworks-c-29_164.html). Seeing how there seemed to be a lot of participation in the first LESS IS MORE CHALLENGE, I'm continuing on with it for July.

I'm offering up a FREEBIE mini kit for you to work with. This month I'm changing it up a bit though. The premise of this challenge is to download this kit and create a LO using ALL of the elements and papers of the kit. Feel free to use your imagination and clip papers, recolour elements or papers, add text or a title or whatever. You can duplicate items and use them over again. Be creative!

It will count as part of your Scrappin' 7 challenge that you will find HERE (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21251).

Love the flamingo photo Dona. And that font is just perfect you used for the header - it has a "flamingo" feel to it. Great page and super job on the challenge.

To edit your photo - here's what you do.
Go to it in the gallery and scroll down below the image. You'll see some other small images, and your info. Below that there is a link that says "edit photo". Click on that and it will bring up a new window. Near the bottom of that is an option to delete the image. Hope that helps you!

Anna - I just love how you split up those papers. So very cool and it gives your LO a real pop of colour. Choosing to use a BW photo really adds to that - super page!

Looks so great Andrea. I love how you brushed the paper to make it look like sand - a very realistic touch! And the way you've positioned the photo almost makes him look like he's in the boat at first glance. Super job on the mini challenge!

I love the paper cutout's you've created to frame your beautifully blended dog. And using the frame as what looks like a dock or pillar is awesome. Very creative LO!

Think it has something to do with how soon after we registered and joined when we tried to post to the forum. We are all newbies. I noticed that my first several posts didn't show up in any of the threads until I had reached either 5 or 6 posts count. All of them before that said it was "waiting for moderator" before they would show up. Never did see them, so went ahead and did a new posts of the layouts so everyone could see them. Even had to do a new challenge 7 tracker so I would be entered in it. My earlier post about that never showed up either.l

And now that they are finally showing up... you may see I have been all over the board having a ball with the challenges. :vb_chirolp_iei:

That could very well be it. I know on another site, I had to have 10 posts before anything showed up. It's probably a good thing, stopping stammers is one thing that comes to mind!
