Here's the conversation.. 5 y.o. DD Hannah and her friend in the kitchen...

DD Hannah: "Mom, we're going to the icecream store today."

me: "We are? What Icecream Store?"

DD Hannah: "THE icecream store!"

me: "Well who said that?"

DD Hannah: "Well... God told me he wanted us to go there!"

**Now how do I argue and get outta that one?!!:twitcy: :stupid:

She sounds just like my 5-yr old granddaughter!

Did she say that God said it had to be TODAY!

You should ask her if God told her anything else he wanted her to do for him too? That might get her thinking.

Enjoy the ice cream today!

rofl!!! My cousin (who is now 16, so I love to remind him of this!!), when he was about the same age as Hannah, if he did something wrong, and my aunt would challenge him about it, he would reply "I couldn't help it, Satan made me do it!!"

I guess you have to go to THE ice cream store, Debra! You just can't argue with a higher authority than that! Kids are so cool!

ROTFL! I would tell her okay. God told me the same thing. He also said you were paying. :)

My son would probably go get my money out of my cubby in our vehicle and say, okay.

Kids are so much fun!

The world is just so wonderful when you have little ones in them. My DGD hadnt seen her aunt (my daughter) for a few months as she lives in New Zealand. When she saw Louise she ran and gave her a hug took her hand and said "where have you been aunty". This DGD is not quite 4 years ld.
