Precepts and Promises

So, here I am at Dulles International Airport, having left my house at 4:30 to catch the 6am flight--the only flight this Spring Break week with open seats. (I'm flying stand-by.) And, I DO get a great seat, make it to IAD, and text my daughter. (Whose daughters are having a birthday party I'm here to attend and eat my weight in ice cream and cake with them!)
And, I get this text message back from DD:
"Wha?!?!?" Followed immediately by a phone call.
You're here TODAY?
Why, yes, I told you I was coming a day early.
Oh, I thought a day early was tomorrow.
No, dear, I'm here now.
Followed by frantic sounds of housecleaning.
It's rather funny, once she got used to the idea of having an extra pair of hands to make cupcakes, talk the 3-year old down from a hissy fit, etc.
Just thought I'd catch you all up!
