The bridesmaids dress that has been the bane of my existence for the last few days is DONE! All of the invisible zippers that I had to put in all the other dresses are DONE! The sleeves that I edged: DONE!!!
Now, I want to get back to Photoshop and finish up all the unfinished products and pages that have been left undone for weeks now! I don't want to sew for a while. :-)
(But, first I must pay our bills--I need electricity for the Photoshop!)

I'm working on a lo with sew vintage, I love the whole collection. My Mom was an avid seamstress so this one will be for her. She made everything I wore including my wedding dress. Quilting became her passion in her last years, I really cherish the things that she made for me. Just think, you were making beautiful memories too!

Pam, where DO you find all these???? Love it. We had a machine(Singer) in the house like that when I was a little girl.
Great Grandmother was a seamstress, GrandmaJ sewed clothing by hand :hairpull: and Mom taught me beginning at age 9.

Barbara- WE WANT PHOTOS!! :D

Beautiful!!!! Sewing brings such great memories. I have a feature (at least sometimes) on my blog called "I Made it Monday" which is supposed to post on Monday, when I can remember and I'm not too busy.... :-/ It's been fun to remember what I made and when and how I felt and what I was doing at the time.

Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!! I really don't like fussy sewing, and bridesmaids and wedding dresses are nothing but fussy!!! Give me a nice t-shirt fabric and a couple of hours and I'm a happy woman! But, linings and darts and flutter sleeves, oh my!

I'll post photos after the wedding, which is this Saturday.

Now, I have paid the bills and need to get to making some more money! Hehe!
I've got a few things in the works that I hope you'll be liking!

Seriously, I JUST finished! But, I'm here in Houston with The Male (I came with him on a business trip.) and the internet in the hotel is awful! There's just no way that I'll be able to upload it to the store until I get home. I might try to upload the preview, though...
As for the dress, the MOTB doesn't want anyone to post any pictures until the bride and groom get home. :-( A friend took the photo, so I'm trying to be patient!

The photos have been released!!! So, here it is, ladies:

This is the dress I made from start to finish, plus put in the zippers for three others, the zipper in the MOTB dress, and did a rolled hem on all the 12 sleeves. And, I made the dress I'm wearing, too, but a few months ago.
