View Full Version : Finally Getting My New Hip!!!!

I was supposed to go to the Ortho Dr. on Friday, but they changed my appt. to this afternoon and guess what? I AM GETTING MY NEW HIP REPLACEMENT ON TUESDAY MORNING AT 7 AM!!!!!! I am so excited about this--if all goes well, PT will have me up using a walker on Wednesday morning and I will finally be on my way back to "normal". I know I still will have a lot of work ahead, but I have been through it twice before so I am very optimistic. :nurse:

Hopefully by mid July, I should be able walk with a cane and drive again (for shorter drives anyway). Keep your fingers crossed. :party1:

I hope it all goes very smoothly for you and the discomfort ends very quickly. I'll be thinking of you, although because LIFE is getting in the way, I can't be around here much for a little while. I'll check in to peek to see how you're doing, though! Do let us know as soon as you're able.
