Hi Everyone!
I was catching up on my music video's this morning and had a thought... (I know.. lol. dangerous.. ack!)
Ever see a video or hear a song and thing, wow, I'd love to scrap a page to those lyrics and dedicate it to... "so and so.."!
Well let's put together a list of those songs here and maybe share some great inspiration.
Here's three I found today:
"I'm gonna love you through it" - Martina McBride (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYNOXRifXKQ&ob=av2n)
God Gave Me You - Blake Shelton (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCf2PoTuh4Q&ob=av2n)
Just Fishin' - Trace Adkins (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IheODRwalEw)
Ok... I know.. all country..but I'll be back with other styles too...
How about you? Let's hear your inspirational music

This sounds like fun! I have one that I used for a layout to describe myself but I don't think I ever posted the layout here. Here is the song.

OK ... I know there are quite a few of these, but I am drawing a blank at the moment. I sort of have to be riding around listening to the radio to trigger my memory, BUT ... this video was waiting in my inbox Monday morning AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT! Got to scrap this song ... and, I just love the way they portrayed it in the video:
Someone Worth Dying For by Mikeschair (http://www.godtube.com/watch/?v=FF201MNU)

I just love the album "Lifelines (http://www.peterpaulandmary.com/music/f-18.htm)" by Peter, Paul and Mary, and in particular the song "But a Moment (http://lyrics.astraweb.com/display/509/peter_paul_mary..pp_m_lifelines..but_a_moment.html )" speaks to me and makes me think of my parents, getting older, and all that. Eventually I'll be able to scrap some of the still raw feelings I have right now. Anyway, all the songs on that album are great, some bittersweet, most profound, and I listen to it often.

Great idea Debra! I never have time to watch videos. I always go back to my faithful CDs - I have so many and so many favourite songs. I kind of miss the old album liners that always had the songs printed on them. Yes, showing my age!

I love using lyrics as the inspiration for pages. My daughter's favorite page I have made for her is based on a children's song, Under a Shady Tree by Laurie Berkner. She still loves to listen to that song when I have my ipod set up in the car.
I have been checking out the songs in the thread, and they are amazing.
I have to find the real title, but my next page to scrap for my daughter is based on If You Are Gonna Be a Grump -- the words are hilarious but so true and how fun to scrap a page stating I still love you, but go be a grump somewhere else.
Love this thread :)
