After weeks and weeks of rain and grey skies, we have sun, humidity, and blue skies. It is in the 80's! Perfect for cookouts and celebrations, but it was hot and steamy at the Memorial Day parade this morning
Does anyone have any fun plans or something special they have done today or this weekend?
I took my daughter to the parade and while she had a hard time sitting through the dedication at the VFW, I can say that more than once I was moved to tears.
The high school band played and one of the boys did a Taps solo and it was so moving.
