Would anyone be interested in doing a holiday Recipe Card exchange? If so we don't have much time to put it together. But I wanted to know if there was any interest.

I think I can squeeze in some time for that.

I can squeeze in some time. Maybe a designer can put her recipe cards on sale for this ... hint hint !

I would like to take part too. If there's not enough people/time, we could always do it for Christmas instead.

Always a fun thing, I'll play!

Well it looks like there should be enough interest.

Here is what I was thinking
Everyone who wants to participate makes at least one (you're welcome to make and submit as many as you want).
make it a 4X6 LO at high resolution and 300 dpi.
The theme is Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, Baxter day...)
I'd really like to have them done by Dec 1st. This way we can use the recipes (for at least our Christmas).
Email it to me at judeebeeforme@yahoo.com Please put "recipe" in the subject line.
I'd also recommend posting it to your "member gallery" and link it to this thread, so that we can all see them.

Thanks Looking forward to seeing what all of you love sharing.

If you need templates or just ideas of what they can look like:

Here are some templates for the GDS store

AndreaGold recipe templates 01 (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&products_id=1573)
AndreaGold recipe templates 02 (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&cPath=29_41&products_id=7670)
Trisha Curtis's Holiday Recipe Cards (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&cPath=29_132&products_id=5730)

Brag Book Templates work great too.

I made this card for anyone who needs an example. They don't have to be fancy.

Here is mine. The recipe makes 1 dozen cupcakes & they are really cute! I made them for my daughter to take to Story Time at the library before she started school & they loved them.

Do the recipes have to be ones that we came up with, or can they be some of our favorites we've found in magazines or online?

Hopefully they don't have to be ones we came up with because mine came from a magazine. I am NOT one of those people who can just throw things a pot & make it work!

Great ideas ladies! Count me in. Some of my favourite recipes aren't ones I came up with, but I'm sure that doesn't matter. After all, food is food right?

I have a cheesecake recipe that I got off of a website that turned out really well that I'd love to share.

The recipe can be any one that you want to do. Made up or borrowed. Its up to you. We all like getting new and good recipes.
