How did you pick your username? Well, my hubby is an electrician, and he is called "Sparky" ... and I'm his girl .
How long have you been digitally scrapbooking? Not quite a year. Actually, I started digiscrapping using Microsoft DIP at the end of April last year (so almost a year). However, after finding GDS last July, I made the decision to purchase PSE7 in August of last year. The learning curve made if feel like I was starting over from scratch. The wonderful folks here encouraged me to keep plugging away! I'm still learning, though!
What programs do you use? PSE7 ... I would love, love, love to have one of the CS-number products ... I just can't justify the expense.
How do you display your work? I uploade to a publisher (not often enough), and store the printed pages in protective 12x12 or 8x8 sleeves in albums. I also upload to my blog for family and friends.
What things inspire you to get your creative juices flowing in scrapping? I love looking through galleries. The creativity of others is so contagious. It's so strange, though, I often see scrapbook pages everywhere I look - television commercials will even trigger an idea for a layout. When I saw the movie Alice in Wonderland .. I saw a zillion scrap pages. So, I guess I get inspiration in a lot of places.

What things inspire you to get your creative juices flowing in scrapping? That could be everything... A great kit, a picture I love, a challenge, or of course someone elses layout. But my main inspiration would be my daughter...
Married? Nope but me and my boyfriend have been together since I was 17, so that's 20 years already... I think I am the weird exception to the rule, but I have never seen the point of marrying

Your username/name... lilusmom Debby in the real world!
How did you pick your username? I chose Lilu is my Pomeranian. She was just a little ball of fluff when I chose it, but now she is a 16 (yes 16) pound dog that we call the Brat! Seemed right at the time especially since my kids would have been severely embarrassed if I used beckaandjaysmom!
How long have you been digitally scrapbooking? about 6 years or so.
What programs do you use? Fotofusion
How do you display your work? I print my own pages in 8 x 8 and put them in albums and also make them into slideshows. I also make chipboard books too.
What things inspire you to get your creative juices flowing in scrapping? I do things backwards (find a kit I like then find the photo), forwards (Find kits to match photos) and usually just play around until I like it! But I do like to see new ideas from others layouts and in mags. I usually have to readjust things to be able to use my program as it has no real bells and whistles.
Married? 23 years
Kids, and if so their ages? I have 4. 2 Stepsons, 31 and 32 and 1 daughter 21 and my son is 19. I have 3 grandchildren 9, 7, 2 and one on the way.
Hobbies besides scrapping? I like to take photos, travel and made hybrid books and cards.

How did you pick your username? Well, it was by accident really. When I registered, I typed my name in before I realized it was supposed to be my screen name. What a dummy!
How long have you been digitally scrapbooking? About 2-1/2 years. I was doing paper scrapping before that. Even as a child I made scrapbooks - of things like postcards sent from an Aunt in Dallas, my ribbons and medals, all the cards I received. Apparently my pack-rat mentality started at an early age!
What programs do you use? Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3. Would love to upgrade, but can't afford it right now.
How do you display your work? It really depends on what I've done. I create home-made cards for birthdays, holidays. They're always so welcomed. I've made my own books by buying little photo books. I'll print the pages to fit - usually 8" x 8" so I can print on my home printer. Then I usually decoupage papers and designs on the front and back covers so it looks like an authentic little book. And then of course there's the scrapbooking galleries.
What things inspire you to get your creative juices flowing in scrapping? That really depends. I draw inspiration from so many areas, but I'm always conscious of colours - be it in my garden, in a fabric shop or reading a magazine. Sometimes I'll find a photo I really want to use and find a kit to match or it could be visa versa. I love reading other people's blogs and peruse scrap galleries. There's just so many talented people on-line nowadays.
Married? Single parent.
Kids, and if so their ages? I have 2. A son whose 29 and a daughter whose 28.
Hobbies besides scrapping? I love to read, I'm into sports (love my Canucks), although you wouldn't know it by the shape of my body these days! I love to garden, hang out with friends and family and of course travelling - even if it's just an overnighter camping just outside of town or a day sailing trip.

Your username/name... Irishgull, Rosaria (Rosie)
How did you pick your username? 10 years ago I used to say to a friend that I was like a seagull. One year after I opened my first email account and at the time to choose my nickname I couldn't choose seagull as this nick was already taken. I was leaving in Ireland, I was in love of Ireland (I still am) and Irishgull came on its own.
How long have you been digitally scrapbooking? 11 months
What programs do you use? Photoshop Cs
How do you display your work? I printed and framed only two of my pages (for presents) and I made pages for my parents and my aunt's family for their digital frames. I'm plannig to have books printed, with I haven't done it so far.
What things inspire you to get your creative juices flowing in scrapping? Every day is different. Sometimes as soon as I see papers or elements I have ideas, sometimes I recall pages seen somewhere, but most of the times I put all the elements on a paper and the elements tell me where they want to go.
Married? Single
Kids, and if so their ages? No
Hobbies besides scrapping? Travelling, reading, spending time with friends, knitting and shopping (most window shopping!!)

Trying to figure out if it's best to buy a printer ($199 for either epson or hp) plus costs of cartridges to print out scrapbook pages or try to send them off to be printed. I have taken so many pictures since going digital but they all seem to stay on my computer. I want to get back into the creative world. Any advice! Just found this web site and I am excited!:roses:

I think some people love the flexibility of being able to print their own photos and pages (and for me, some paper crafting projects). I have found that my Epson printer is great, but it uses ink like crazy and wont work even if it has just one cartridge empty. That has led to a lot of frustration, and expense to replace the cartridges.
Now, I print selectively and will only print photos or a page here and there.
I tend not to print all my layouts, but I will make a few bound photo books a year. Until I can get completely organize, I am just not ready to print all my layouts. I view them online and on one of those digital frames too

GDS has some fabulous 12x12 printing options that you can see HERE (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=52)
