 Happy New Year to all of you

and welcome to an afternoon Speed Scrap tomorrow January 2 @ 4 PM EST here in this thread!!

There will be a hint later today.....

1. Choose 3 papers – at least one blue
2. Use one as background and one as a “stripe” on the left side.
3. Place your 2 (or more photos) down to the left.
Slightly overlapping each other and slightly rotated.
4. Take a frame (if you have one in blue-use it or colorize one if you have time)
Use the frame on the second photo (not the upper one)
5. From the third paper – cut out a circle and put it under the photos.
6. Use 4 (or more) elements – at least 2 of them in blue
7. Find a nice alpha or write the title in big bold letters.

Hi Tracy!! :hi:

Speed Scrap is usually hold in the thread.....so this one will be right here, but I will start a new thread just before the Speed Scrap!!

We start @ 4 PM EST and during 1 hour I will give you 7 prompts to follow - they will be with about 10 minutes intervals. You scrap following the prompts and after the "chat" you will have 1 hour to finish your layout and post it in the Speed Scrap gallery. (http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=927)

Everyone who participate will receive a prize and I will also random pick from all the posts done in the thread a winner of a $5 coupon to my store.

The Speed Scraps are usually later in the evening, but cause of the timezone I live in (Finland - 7 hour ahead of EST) I prefer this time.....

You are more than welcome to Speed Scrap with us - in fact I would :wub1: to have you there!!

I'm gonna try to be there, too! The only thing that might interfere is my limited "memory" skills ... I'm likely to forget. I'm gonna put some Post-It-Note reminders all over the fridge ...

Carola - it's Fahrenheit. Not sure how much that would be in Celcius.

I arrived there on the Wednesday that they were having the big snowstorm. For awhile I thought I would end up spending the night in Denver where I changed planes, but it ended up my flight was only delayed 45 minutes.

Had fun playing in the snow with 2 of my grandkids and it was fun being there for my little granddaughter's first Christmas.

Oh so you have not literally lived in Denmark at all.....hehehe
I have a friend Gitte in Denmark and visited her 3 summers ago.

Yes.. I was born in Denmark but my parents moved to Canada when I was 4 months old. Thank goodness the first language I learned was Danish! It made learning French in school so much easier and made conversing with my relatives much easier too!

And here we have the last step - then you have 1 hour (about) to finish your layout.
Please upload in the Speed Scrap gallery - and remember to leave a little bit love to each other!!

Yes Anna - as many times as you want - there just have to be at least 4 different elements of witch 2 are in blue color.

You are so welcome!!!
Sometimes you just need a little "something" to kick you on the track again....lol
I am glad The Speed Scrap could help a little.

And although i LOVE Christmas and all the reds and whites and greens i wanted us to scrap "the blues" ......hehehe.

Thanks for the great New Year's mini Carola! Congratulations Lisa!

Carola, you were wondering about "Aiden's obsession"; in the photos he is holding a little "super Grover" figurine. If he does not have it in possession, he will not rest until he finds it. I did not have time to do journalling as i was scrambling to get my layout posted.
