Boy is it going to be a busy Halloween weekend around here!

My Hannah has her Halloween parade and party today at school (wish I hadn't volunteered to make scary cobweb cupcakes - which I still have to decorate some time this morning..ack!)

Hannah's a "Southern Belle" this year, complete with hat, gloves and pearls...

actually, here she is at dad's house... less the gloves, pearls and purse

Have an "adult" Halloween party later after trick-or-treating on Sat night and have no clue what I'm going to where..ack again!

How about you... what are you up to for Halloween?

I have a state cross-country meet and a play to go to, might have time to do some handing out of candy

I really wish our Halloween was the same over here as it is in the US in that over there you all dress up as something fun - over here, it is all witches, vampires and ghosts which isn't nearly as fun!

Having said that, the girls and I are dressing as witches and going to a friend's Halloween party with lots of scary stuff for the kids and wine for the adults! I think I'll need it to get myself dressed up!!!

That sounds like loads of fun too Joy!

Last Friday we did a haunted hay ride... scary scary! My oldest daughter traveled to Ohio and she and her friends went to a local prison turned haunted prison... she said it scared her like crazy and she had a ball!

Around here, we love Halloween!

Ahh, since it's a Saturday and we have all day and no school, we shall start at my Mom and Dad's house where the grandkids will fix Rice Krispie treats and snacks while the adults fix the chili and beef vegetable and/or chicken vegetable soup...yummy!! Gonna be rainy and cool, so that should hit the spot!!

My oldest DD is going as a Skeleton Bride and youngest DD is a Pretty in Pink witch. We are going to do the makeup, the hair dye and all the accessories...YIKES!!
Everyone be careful of the face paint...watch the labels. For white makeup, we are using a wee bit of lotion and baby powder and I bought actual black eyeshadow and nail polish...LOL!! Also, have never spray painted my kids hair, but what's the worst that could happen? :eek1

I think the adults will take turns taking the kiddos around the neighborhood so we can snack and visit.

Here is a layout of Allyson from the Girl Scout Halloween party last Monday.

I used Dylabel's new Fright Night kit for this layout.

Everyone have a SAFE and BOO-tiful Halloween!! :marchmellow:

Here are the kids before the preschool parade this morning at school - sweeties:)
Halloween is a HUGE to-do in our small community - lots of kids. So we will be trick or treating til we can't do it anymore - mama needs some CANDY!
