p.s. did you back up your stash and photos?

Welcome, welcome to the fastest, funnest legal fix on the planet!

Here's the deal!

Over the next hour, you'll be given an instruction each 10 minutes. There are no hard and fast rules. Although following the guidelines
is a way to stretch and grow, if you don't have a certain item listed, don't panic. Just use your artistic interpretation to
come up with a reasonable substitute. The only way to be disqualified and not to receive the posting bonus, is if you don't finish and
don't post a LO at the end.

How easy is that?

Now, you'll have an hour to finish up at the end of our "instruction" hour. Please finish your LO, and post it in the Speed Scrap Gallery.
Then please link it back here in
this thread. That way we can all find it and give it some love, and I don't have to break a sweat hunting down all the participants! LOL. I would say sit back
and relax, but we all know that isn't going to happen! (Actually, tonight won't be too hard.)
Enjoy sharing this time with people who love to create, just like you!
OH! And shameless plug.....in case you missed the announcement, the DPD Creative Team is keeping track of layouts in the gallery using DPD products to
feature in our newsletter, and win a gift certificate. If you use DPD products, it could be YOU! And if you'd like to subscribe to the newsletter, to get the scoop on what's going on,
coupons and different promotions, you can PM me with your email addy, and request to be added to my mailing list.)
We now return you to your regularly scheduled Speed Scrap :-)

1. Pick 3-5 papers...any kind. Patterned, solid, grungy, etc.
2. Use one large, dominant circular shape on your layout.
3. Use One, Three, or Five Photos (One larger than the rest).
4. Use Metal, Glitter, buttons, swirls, string and ribbons somewhere on your layout. (at least 3 of the six).

I'm looking into starting to do some of that, Wendy. If you have any tips (cause I've never done it before) I'd love to hear them! I inherited a big HUGE pressure canner from my grandma and just had it tested...works GREAT! (Well, after a new gasket, anyway) LOL.

Oooh, they all look AMAZIN! No worries...I'm not too sticky on the deadlines :-) As long as they're posted in the next while or so....

I'm heading to bed though...hubby's feeling seriously neglected, poor boy, and my hands are starting to cramp, LOL.

Thanks for coming, everyone! You made it a Fast, Furious, but mostly FUN SS!
I'll send out PB's in the next day or so, and announce the gift certificate winner!

See you next time!

Day late and a dollar short, but at last it's finished - and I'm even happy with the final results, especially for a rush job.

I counted the swirls on the back paper, then added the buttons to even out the pictures, the glittery guitar sticker, and the metal safety pin as the elements from the list. The journalling (list) is the set list from the concert.

Thanks for hosting another great SS Jenn!!

Thank you to those of you who've sent applications for the CT position!
I hope you got my message about making a decision on the 24th.

Just catching up on the messages at the beginning of this thread. Two reasons to look forward to the 24th now - I'm going to a Def Leppard/Poison concert that night and will also be excited to see who you choose.

BTW, good luck to everyone who applied

Well, I didn't get to participate in the SS last night - we took our 9yr old granddaughter to the circus for her birthday. But I did the scrap today just for the fun of it and wanted to show you what I came up with.

Missed the fun last night, but still enjoyed following the directions today. I think there should be a new category - "Speed Scrap after the Fact"!
