View Full Version : Thoughts and prayers needed!

This afternoon I was putting the kids in the car to go to mom and dad's. I had just closed my son's car door when I heard tires squealing on the road in front of our house. I looked up to see a Jeep flipping at least 4 times in the bottom across the street! I ran into the house and screamed for my DH to get down there. I called 911 and the kids and I waited until we saw help arrive. James (DH) said it was a young guy we actually knew. He used to live across from my MIL and would go over to her house and help her in the yard and carry in her groceries for her. He's only 19, just had a new baby and is working very hard to make something of himself. Very uncommon around here anymore. He did recognize James and talk to him, he could move his hands and arms but didn't seem to be able to move his legs. We are so afraid his back is broken.
He is a great kid and really needs all the good thoughts you can send his way.
OH MY GOD!!! that sounds absolutely terrible! He definitely has my thoughts and prayers!

Oh, Christy, we will definitely lift him and his family up in our prayers. And prayers as you recover from witnessing such a horrible event. That certainly can shake a person to their core. I hope your kiddos did not see, and if they did, I pray that they will have no after effects.

It's bad enough that he got hurt, but I'm very glad to hear that the angels kept the jeep away from you and your kids. Prayers and healing thoughts sent his way.

That is so terrible, I am sorry that you had to witness that, I am even more sorry that he had to endure it. I will keep him and you and your family in our prayers. I also pray for his child and sig other for all that they will endure during his recovery as well.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts! He is out of the hospital with no serious injuries! Cuts and bruises but nothing broken! He surely had an Angel looking over him!
