Hi Everyone
Helen asked me to give everyone an update as to what's been going on with her and why it'll still be at least a few more days before she's around. As most of you know Helen has had a year of bad luck with her health, seems like she starts to feel better and then something else knocks her down. The latest is with her left hand being numb and making it difficult for her to type or do things with her left hand. She has some nerve damage in her left elbow so yesterday she had her surgery to take care of the damage at 10:00 am and was home around 5:00 later in the day. She said she's in a lot of pain so she's taking the prescription for pain and one for nausea in case she should get sick from the anesthesia they gave her. She said so far so good she hasn't felt sick but the pills are making her very drowsy so she's sleeping a lot. Lots of bandages on her arm and she has to leave those on until Friday and then she can change them but has to keep the sling on for two weeks.
When I hear more I'll give an update, hopefully it'll be Helen giving the update saying she's doing a lot better.
As for the Technique Challenge she hopes to have that up by this weekend.
Please keep Helen in your thoughts and prayers while she is recuperating.
Thanks from me for all the support you all give Helen.
Enjoy your week!!
Elaine
