50 minutes from now!! In this thread right here! See y'all then!!

ETA: Here's the Silly Beans Scraps Speed Scrap How-to!

Please remember, if this is your first SS with me, I'm terrible with names and will call you by your username unless you tell me your real name! You've been warned!! Hehe.

Starting at the top of the hour, I will post your first instruction, followed by 1 more instruction every ten minutes through the hour.

At the top of the second hour. I will post the 7th and final instruction and then you'll have 1 additional hour to finish and post your LOs. All in all, this will take about 2 hours.

(I will allow a 15 min. grace period for gallery posting purposes. The gallery may slow down when we were all trying to post at once!)

If we have any other technical difficulties, I might also allow a few extra minutes. I will let you know.

Please note that prizes will not be given out to entries posted after this time, although we would still love to see what you have come up with!!

You must post in the Speed Scrap gallery AND link back here in the forum. If you do not post back here I will not know that you have participated and you will not be able to receive the prize.

Some important things to remember to make the Speed Scrap go a bit smoother:

- The instructions are all pretty self-explanatory, but remember that you can interpret them creatively. I may be an Army wife, but I'm no drill sergeant! Do the best you can on the instructions, but don't freak out over them. Be creative! You won't be disqualified!!

- You can use a template if you want.

- goDigitalScrapbooking products are NOT required, but of course, we love it when you use them!!

- I will re-cap all the instructions again each time I post a new instruction.

- For each instruction there must be a different element. You may not use the same element to fulfill requirements for 2 different instructions.

-At least on Windows, F5 will refresh the page. If you go up to Quick Links at the top and choose edit options, there's a feature in there to show 40 posts per thread. That helps keep the pages you see to a minimum. And most importantly...SAVE SAVE SAVE!!

Please don't stress! Speed scraps are fun. Just take the instructions to mean what YOU think they mean and have fun!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE REMEMBER - post back here when you are done so I will know you are playing along!!

I'm going to attempt this but since I'm at work...who knows. But I need some inspiration. I've hit a slump and have no creativity left. Maybe I'm just tired from all the birthday celebration which has lasted almost a week and a half. If I can't post, I'll use the instructions to jump start my brain.

I'm here! This could be more of a challenge than usual lol. I'm used to scrapping with the baby asleep in my lap (he's napping on me now), but I have to use my laptop today, and the baby has hidden my mouse. I've been looking for it since yesterday.

2. Choose 5 patterned papers to use however you like. These will be the only papers you get for this scrap, so as I tell dd, "Make good choices!" Lol. And yes, that means you won't have any solid papers.

Me too, LOL - I had to go to older cd's of pictures. I usually only keep the last few months on my hard drive (helps me get the most recent scrapped ASAP) but we have had a really snowy stormy spring so far.

OK, off to find 5 patterned papers to coordinate with my photos

4. Okay time for some more spring stuff! So bring on some springy elements! Choose five things that you think help bring out the Spring theme in your layout. These can be anything you want them to be (besides papers) as long as they fit with the theme!

5. I'd love to see some stitching on your layouts!

6. Journal using a Spring quotation that you really like. Don't forget to list whose quote it is. You can find lots of quotations by Googling "scrapbooking quotations", just to say.

7. Title, date, and you're done! If you absolutely MUST add something more to your layout to make it perfect, feel free. Just no more papers.

Theme was good but no spring pictures yet. Low 40's here in Wisconsin yet -- with couple inches of snow expected again over the weekend.

Did at least see Bird Robin -- when driving by the park on 3/21 [first day of spring]. This small bird with a red breast, migrates for the winter and comes back to build a nest.

No flowers, tree buds or any other signs of spring yet. At least have seen a bunch more Robins, so am hopeful there will be a spring.

I'm hoping winter will be over for you soon too! Are you scrapping with last year's spring photos? That would certainly work! :)

It's tough for me to use 5 patterned papers and no plain - I tend toward just little touches of pattern, It's tough (for me, anyway) to make a layout like this without having it look cluttered.

Mine didn't turn out as springy and pretty as everyone elses, but here it is.
