I'm not sure if this is the right forum and if this is only happening to me, but it is not the first time, so I thought I'd post it here:

This is what I copied from an email I just received in my email through my Outlook Express email:

Message title identifies it in the Subjest Line as a Reply to this thread.

wu961lai409 has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - NEW Oct-Nov 15 Techniques Challenge - Word Masks - in the Technique Challenge forum of goDigitalScrapbooking.

This thread is located at:

Here is the message that has just been posted:

Has anybody else been hit with these? I clicked on the thread link, but I don't see the message in the thread.

Yes, I've gotten them too. Perhaps our moderator is removing the spam from the threads we see online. Too late for the email notifications, though.

You'll get those messages anytime someone responds to a thread you are subscribed to. I received the same thing in my email and deleted the message(s) already, so that's why you aren't able to view it. :)

Whenever you see a spam message that is still there, you can click on the little triangle icon on the right hand side of the message, and it will send an email to all the mods so that the message can be deleted.

Can something not be done to the "member" is sending that "spam" email. Removing them is not doing your members any service. THis person should be banned from the site and reported to the authorities.

I do not appreciate getting secondary spam email like this.

Hi Victoria,

Yes, these spammers are banned immediately once we are aware that they have posted.... We sure do look forward to the day a program is created that will block spammers completely.
