Well, girls, it's almost here and I finally got your participation prize ready! I hope you like it! These are some great commercial use paper templates for you! They are layered so you can change each layer and not just use them as overlays (although you can do that too if you want!) You will get them in psd & tif files! Here is the preview!

I'm feeling pretty good after a visit to see my physio this afternoon, so I should be up to it.

For those who have been following my mishaps lately. I finally found out this week that I fractured my ankle along with a severe sprain. That's why I'm still very swollen and sore even almost 4 weeks after the accident.

I'm not too in to foilage, so you don't have to worry about that with me!! But I do love glitter - so there will be glitter tonight! If you don't have any, be sure to pick up my DD right now! It is 6 sheets of glitter!!!

So did they say anything about surgery? I know you were worried about that during our last ss. Or maybe a couple of ss before.

Not to worry. After all instructions are given you have an hour to finish. One thing I remember from my first ss is to become very friendly with your refresh button.

Have fun.

Jan so good to hear you found out what was wrong. Hope you keep getting better. Did they have to re break it to set it?

Another thing I learned just last ss. There is a place on the website that you can set the number of posts you can see on one page. I think the most is 40 but that was really helpful. Does anyone remember where to go for this?

If it is only fractured and you/they are happy with the way the bone is sitting, then homeopathic symphytum (oficionale?) is WONDERFUL at quickly helping the bone repair itself. Herbal comfrey (also called bone knit), too. Good luck with that!!

If you go to quick links (just under the banner ad) and go to edit options. Just scroll down and you should find it.

I always love coming here, I even got some tips on my fracture! LOL

So, no question of surgery for now. The ortho checked ligament stability this week (which hurt like %?&?%&?), but she said I was ok. Which means I should be able to recover without surgery, because the ligaments are likely reattaching... but it's still too soon to confirm with certainty. The fracture just adds length to recovery and means pain for a longer time. I had always been a bit confused why I was feeling a lot of pain on the opposite side of the torn ligament. Now I know, it's because I have a fracture at the end of my tibia.

I'm a tough chick, because I've been waddling around with a broken ankle and no cast!!

TheMommason
02-27-2009, 04:55 PM
Janick ask about them useing Prolotherapy to help tighten the ligaments after the swelling and all that goes down. I get it in my back and so good. And no sideeffects!

Is prolotherapy when they use the electrodes??? If so I've been doing it 2 times a week for 3 weeks. Also, ultrasound, contrast baths and tapings.

I started teaching karate again last night, so it's not all that bad. I'm just not as mobile as I used to be.
