A tale of Two Sisters
goDigitalScrapbooking began on September 4, 2006. It was created by two sisters with two very different passions. The big sister Debra resides in Maryland, was an avid photographer and stumbled across digital scrapbooking accidentally while searching online for digital photography tips and fell instantly in love with the digital
scrapbooking. Debra began creating digital scrapbook pages and ultimately designing products in 2006. The baby sister, Holly, has long been a talented web designer who began her career as a summer intern at a State of Florida Chamber of Commerce at the tender age sixteen. Holly grew as a Computer Programmer, moved to Virginia to work at the Headquarters of a large membership based association. She later was offered a telecommuting position and moved back to her native state of Florida where she works from her home office and resides today.
As close as two sisters could be, as well as Moms too, combining their passions seemed like a perfect match. What could be more fun than working together to create a digital scrapbooking full service site where scrappers could come to create and share their family keepsakes? One of their happiest moments was the night GDS went live and made it’s first sale in the Shoppe… a whopping $7.00 buckaroos!
Today GDS has grown to a large Community of over 32,000 fun and friendly members, with a amazing site creative team known as “The Supreme’s”, an informative and helpful Moderator staff, a lively group of inspirational challenge Coordinators known as the “Legacy Ladies” and a dedicated and wonderfully talented Design Team who tirelessly and passionately produce free daily downloads, a complete monthly collaboration kit and the highest quality of digital scrapbooking products and supplies to help both the beginner digital scrapbooker to the most experienced scrapper and professional photographer have all the supplies their heart desires.
